Built Different.

I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia and have lived in Asheville since 2000. My family has been involved in the real estate industry since the 1970's, and I've gained much of my knowledge around the kitchen table. I earned a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing at The University of Alabama. Having a love of the mountains, I moved to Boulder Colorado after college and worked as a charge nurse, cardiac nurse, cardiac rehab nurse. I also served in various leadership roles throughout my  career as an RN. While living in Boulder, I enjoyed hiking, backpacking, downhill and backcountry skiing, rock climbing and traveling.

At a certain point, I decided it was time to return to my roots. Like many others, I found that Asheville provided the perfect balance of living in the south with four full seasons, an active mountain lifestyle, a vibrant downtown offering arts and culture and world class restaurants. I live with my husband, Mike, who is a licensed general contractor. I am an alumni of the Colorado Outward Bound School from 1983, and I served on the Advisory Board of the North Carolina Outward Bound School. Other experiences include serving on the Beverly-Hanks Agent Advisory Committee and Asheville Board of Realtors. My other interests are design and renovation, music, entertaining, hiking, travel and walking around downtown as a tourist in my home town of Asheville.

I specializes in residential and land real estate sales, and the listing and marketing of properties throughout the Asheville and Western North Carolina area.
